Carr is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and a Chartered Financial Consultant who began his career as a consultant at The Financial Planning Company. Today he is the owner and advisor of Cavender Financial Planning, a registered investment advisory firm in San Diego.
Carr is also the director of the impact investment portfolio at his own family office, where he has studied asset allocation, manager performance, and worked with managers in the private equity and hedge fund space.

In his first career, Carr was a producer and performer in film and theatre projects, culminating in the feature film To Hell and Gone.
He has always cared deeply about the expression of the arts and about supporting creatives. He loves guiding people in their financial journeys so they feel the freedom to pursue the businesses, projects, and lives they dream to create.
